摘要
当前翻译界对西方译论的学习存在四个明显的问题,对西方译论有排斥与误读,使人们对西方译论的评价有失公正,并且无法认清中国译论面临的挑战,从而影响中国译论的健康发展。为改变这一状况,翻译界需要摆脱传统观念的束缚,以开放的心态全面而深入地了解西方译论,并在创造性的运用中对其加以改造。
Though Western translation theories are quite popular in China now, the learning of these theories is quite problematic. The resistance and misreading of such theories are increasingly a hindrance to the development of translation studies in China, making it difficult to make any breakthroughs. To address this problem, translation scholars in China should be more open-minded, and try every means to facilitate the learning of Western theories, to which they can make improvements to better accommodate translation practice in China.
