摘要
应以新的视角重新审视简化汉字的发展历史:(1)当前社会上实际存在着一个简繁并存,二元互补的用字现实;(2)"简繁同堂"是一个难于跨越的汉字发展的阶段;(3)要以更加开放的心态看待"简繁同堂"的问题,避免采取过激的做法;(4)以退为进,促进汉字更加合乎规律地发展。
The development of the simplified Chinese characters should be viewed from new perspectives. At present there is the co-existence of the original complex form and the simplified form of Chinese characters in practical usage. This co-existence of the two forms of Chinese characters marks a stage in the development of Chinese characters that is difficult to surpass. On the other hand, we should treat the phenomenon more open-mindedly and not deal with it harshly. Instead, we need seek the best ways to enable the Chinese characters to develop more naturally and scientifically.
