摘要
《伤寒论》中的文化负载词可分为中医疾病类、中医症状类、病因病机类、中医哲学类及其他,这些词语具有独特的民族文化内涵,是翻译的难点和重点。透过语言国情学理论视角,分析不同译者对《伤寒论》文化负载词采取的翻译方法和策略,探讨文化负载词的翻译原则和影响因素,以期促进中医经典著作翻译的深入研究和中医对外传播工作。
Culture-loaded words in Shanghanlun can be classified into four types, namely words about disease names of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）, words about TCM syndromes, words about causes of disease and pathological mechanism, words about TCM philosophy and words about other aspects of TCM. These words carry particular national cultural connotations and are hard to be translated into English since no counterparts can be found. From the perspective of linguistics of national conditions, this paper analyzed translation methods and strategies adopted by different scholars for culture-loaded words in Shanghanlun. The purpose is to explore principles and affecting factors in translation of culture-loaded words, with the hope to enhance researches of TCM classic translation and transmission of TCM culture.
