摘要
最新研究显示凋亡并非是一种均一的细胞死亡方式,研究发现:通过高温、射线、化疗药物等一些手段处理肿瘤细胞并引起其凋亡的同时细胞表面表达引起机体免疫攻击的蛋白分子,从而引起抗肿瘤免疫反应,被称为肿瘤的免疫原性死亡。免疫原性死亡的肿瘤细胞表面高表达钙网蛋白、热休克蛋白、高迁移率族蛋白B1等引起机体免疫反应的抗原分子能够提高树突状细胞识别肿瘤细胞的能力,激活肿瘤特异性的细胞毒性T淋巴细胞对肿瘤的攻击。肿瘤细胞免疫原性死亡及其特征性表达抗原为肿瘤生物治疗提供了新的治疗依据和手段。
The latest research shows that apoptosis is not a uniform way of cell death,and the study found that the dying tumor cells express characteristic antigens which could cause anti-tumor immune response when the apoptosis of tumor cells caused by high temperature,radiation,some kinds of chemotherapy drugs and many other means.This kind of tumor cell death is called immunogenic cell death.The high expression of the characteristic antigens on the dying tumor cells is a notable feature of immunogenic cell death which could improve the capability of dendritic cells (DC) to identify tumor cells and activate tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) against tumors.The characteristic antigens include calreticulin (CRT),heat shock proteins (HSPs),high mobility group protein B1 (HMGB-1) and so on.Immunogenic tumor cell death provides a new mechanism to explain how anti-tumor chemotherapy drugs kill tumor cells,and also provides a new theory to the cancer biotherapy.
