摘要
英国文学经典并不等同于中国的英国文学经典,那些成为了中国的英国文学经典必然经过了文化的过滤和转换。英国文学经典的中国化与中国译介者的眼光和视野是分不开的,并与中国的政治意识形态、主流文学传统紧密相关。英国文学经典中国化后,对中国文学和读者产生了重大而深刻的影响,对中国文学的发展和演变发挥着十分重要的作用,甚至在某种程度上影响并改变了中国文学的基本精神和特征。
It goes without saying that British literary classics are quite different from British literary classics in Chinese since the latter have been culturally transferred and filtered. The localization of the former has been affected by the translators＇ visions, as well as Chinese ideology and main stream literature. The localized British literary classics have played a vital role in the development of Chinese literature, have important influences for Chinese literature and readers, and to some extent, have influenced and changed some basic Chinese literary spirits and characteristics.
