As the most basic way of travel, walking has the dual positive significance of reducing carbon and promoting residents’health. This paper focuses on the basic research topic of how the human body perceives walking comfort.Through the analysis of the traffic situation in the central city of Beijing, this paper finds that the demand for walking traffic in Beijing is constantly increasing.Subsequently, this Apaper used Citespace software to conduct an overall analy-sis of the literature in the field of urban walkability at home and abroad, and found that the total amount of research literature on human perception during walking at the micro level is limited.Based on the results of the analysis, this article from visual perception, auditory perception,olfacto-ry perception and perception of heat, summarizes in detail the human perception in the context of pedestrian comfort evaluation method and data acquisition methods:in the as-pect of evaluation system, evaluation model based on per-ceptual object classification and evaluation model based on cognitive process are the main research direction of the single sensory evaluation;however, the research on multi-perception comprehensive evaluation is slightly insufficient. In terms of data acquisition, the“walking”method provides convenience for the acquisition of small-scale comprehen-sive human perception raw data, while the emerging data acquisition methods can play an important role in visual perception and comprehensive audio-visual perception.
