Moocs, a new mode of network teaching and education technology, not only has an extensive and profound impact on education, but also brings huge challenges to traditional library services. Its new teaching concept not only promotes school libraries to transfer their services from auxiliary and passive type to embedded and active type, but also promotes school libraries to extend their readers outside campus, even makes the use of library resources extend from limited local readers to unlimited social readers. Furthermore, the new teaching concept breaks the limitation that course learning is only the duty of school libraries, and makes each type of li- braries including public libraries be involved in the powerful current of universal learning. As a result, it brings a series of major shifts of libraries in concept, policy, resource, technology, service, and so on, and prompts libraries to explore and build a new library service system which adapts to large open learning. 18 refs.
