摘要
司法文书送达程序是诉讼程序重要的组成部分,送达的有效性直接影响案件审理的效率。而我国涉外民事或商事案件域外送达司法文书的周期一般较长,送达效率低下。通过电子邮件进行域外送达能极大地缩短送达时间,降低司法成本,在一定程度上解决了送达难的问题。这一送达方式已为包括我国在内的许多国家的立法和司法实践所接受。
Service of process is one of the most important parts of litigation proceeding, and It directly altects the efficiency of the case. The service abroad practice in China is confronted with a lot of problems, such as long period and inefficiency. The service abroad by electronic mail greatly saves the time and reduces the cost of justice. Thus, it solves the problem of service to a certain extent. Service abroad by electronic mail has been accepted by most countries including China.
