摘要
小组活动是语言课堂中经常使用的方法。这种活动的成功进行有赖于在真实课堂环境中出现的各种变项。本研究针对两种任务类型 (信息轮流交换型任务和信息自由提供型任务 )对参加小组活动的中国大学生的交互影响进行了研究。结果表明 ,轮流交换型任务比自由提供型任务能产生更多的交互修正 ;任务的主题在小组活动中起着重要作用。本研究考察了小组活动中中国学生的表现特点和教师的作用 。
Group work is a frequently exploited method in the language classroom. The successful application of the method depends on many variables in a genuine classroom setting. This study investigates the effects of two task types (required & optional information exchange tasks) on the interaction of Chinese college English learners through group work. The study shows that the required exchange tasks seem to generate more interactional modifications than optional exchange tasks. However, the topic of task plays an important role in group work. The performance of the Chinese learners and the teacher's role in group work are examined. The implications of the study in terms of qualitative research methodology are also discussed.
