摘要
高中文理分科问题引起社会激烈争议,高中学生、中学教师、中学校长等大多主张维持高中文理分科之现状,而大学校长、大学教师、专家等则强烈要求取消高中文理分科的做法。这种争论源于社会对人的基本素质结构要求与中学追求高考升学之间的矛盾。取消高中文理分科未必会加重学生课业负担,因正常升学竞争所产生的负担与人为异化教学所造成的负担有着实质的差别。作者主张在健全高中学业水平考试制度、调整高中课程结构、教材内容与师资结构等基础上取消高中文理分科教学,高校根据学科与专业发展需要自主确定所参考的高考科目。
