数字化能否提升危机期间农林企业的韧性?——来自174家上市公司数据的证据 被引量:5

Can Digitalization Improve the Resilience of Agricultural and Forestry Enterprises during Crisis?——Evidence from Data of 174 Listed Companies

摘要 在新冠疫情暴发和外部环境不确定因素增加的背景下,数字化已经成为农林企业增强韧性应对危机、实现进一步发展的关键驱动力。基于新冠疫情暴发的现实情况,文章探讨了数字化对危机期间农林企业韧性的作用机制及影响。运用2019-2022年农林企业中174家A股上市公司的日度数据,通过构建面板固定效应模型,估计了企业的数字化赋能效应,同时采用双重差分法、倾向得分匹配法以及变量替换法对实证结果进行稳健性检验。研究表明:(1)数字化能显著增强危机下的农林企业韧性,短期样本和长期样本的影响系数均在1%的显著性水平上通过了检验。(2)长短期样本内林业企业数字化赋能效应的影响系数分别为0.0093和0.0122,均弱于非农林企业,且小规模企业和非国有企业从数字化中获取的边际收益相对更多。(3)数字化通过提升用工灵活性和生产智能化水平,降低了农林企业在不利环境下的运营风险,增强了应对危机的能力。(4)推进数字化的农林企业在新冠疫情期间分别额外获得0.0118%的短期收益率和0.0188%的长期收益率,即企业数字化赋能效应的长期效应强于短期效应。基于研究结论,文章提出政策启示:一是要为农林企业的数字化转型创造有利条件;二是要给予小规模和非国有农林企业数字化转型更多的资金支持和技术支持;三是要注重农林企业在用工灵活性和生产智能化方面的数字化投入;四是要支持农林企业制定数字化转型的长期战略规划。 In the context of the spread of the COVID-19 and the increase of uncertainy in the external environment,digitalization has become a key driving force for agricultural and forestry enterprises to enhance resilience to cope with the crisis and achieve further development.Based on the COvID-19 outbreak,the article explored the mechanism and impact of digitalization on the resilience of agricultural and forestry enterprises during crisis.Based on the daily data of 174 A-share listed agricultural and forestry enterprises from 2019 to 2022,the article estimated the digital empowerment effect of the enterprises by constructing a panel fixed effects model.At the same time,the robustness of the empirical results was tested by using the double difference method,propensity score matching method,and variable substitution method.Research showed that:(1)Digitalization could significantly enhance the resilience of agricultural and forestry enterprises under crisis,and the impact coefficients of both short and long sample periods had passed the significance test at the 1%level.(2)The impact coefficients of digital empowerment effects on forestry enterprises during the long and short sample periods were 0.0093 and 0.0122,respectively,which were weaker than non-forestry enterprises.Moreover,small-scale enterprises and non-state enterprises had relatively greater marginal benefits from digitization.(3)Digitalization could reduce the operational risks of agricultural and forestry enterprises in adverse environments and enhance their ability to respond to crisis by improving labor flexibility and intelligent production levels.(4)Agricultural and forestry enterprises that promote digitalization would receive an additional short-term return rate of 0.0118%and a long-term return rate of 0.0188%during the COVID-19 period,respectively.This meant that the long-term effect of enterprise digitalization empowerment was stronger than the short-term effect.Based on the research findings,the article proposed policy implications:firstly,to create favorable conditions for the digital transformation of agricultural and forestry enterprises.Secondly,to provide more financial and technical support for the digital transformation of small-scale and non-state agricultural and forestry enterprises.Thirdly,to pay attention to the digital investment of agricultural and forestry enterprises in terms of labor flexibility and production intelligence.Fourthly,to support agricultural and forestry enterprises in formulating long-term strategic planning for digital transformation.
