摘要
时空问题一直是中国美术史研究中值得关注的议题,以往研究多关注图像的空间问题而对时间研究视野较狭隘。文章用文本时间、图像时间、历史时间三重时间概念来讨论《中兴瑞应图》中复杂的时间观念及政治语境如何塑造了这种时间观念。《中兴瑞应图》的图文时间各有特点而又互相配合,文本时间与历史时间存在较大偏差。创作时间滞后及政治祥瑞的性质造成该图历史时间的“失实”,政治象征意义影响图文时间排序,政治文化语境的丧失导致后续版本的排序混乱。复杂时间观念背后的政治用意是将具有纪念性及象征意义的私人时间嵌入到宏观历史进程中,最终目的是用重构私人记忆与公共记忆的方式对高宗晚年政治形象进行重塑。
Spacial and temporal issue has always been worthy of attention in the research of China’s art history, but research in the past focused more on space than time. This paper discusses the complex senses of time shown in the painting Revitalization and Auspices from the Heaven from the following three aspects: text, image and history, and talks about how a particular political context gives rise to such kind of senses. In this painting, text and image, despite their own features, are complementary, whereas the period during which the events happened in real history differs from that shown in text. This is because the painting was created much later than the time when relevant events happened, and is because of the importance of auspices in politics. Given the fact that symbolic meaning of politics influences the chronological order of image and text, the loss of a particular political and cultural context of this painting leads to stories with a confused temporal order. Political intentions behind such complex senses of time embed symbolic time into the grand historical process, with an ultimate goal of reshaping the image of Emperor Gaozong by restructuring individual and common memory.
