摘要
收入差距将会随经济增长呈现出怎样的变化规律特征一直是学术界持续讨论的问题。从个人能力、经济结构与制度角度对收入差距随经济增长的具体变化特征作出理论说明,并以WDI数据库中162个国家与地区1981-2018年跨国面板数据为样本,使用混合回归、固定效应、随机效应模型分析收入差距对经济增长的影响轨迹,结果表明:经济体在发展的初、中等阶段收入差距呈现出“倒U型”变化特征,一旦跨越中等收入陷阱进入高收入阶段,收入差距将会呈现出“指数型”变化特征,两个阶段共同构成收入差距随经济增长的“倒烟斗型”变化特征。
How the income gap will change with economic growth has always been a question of continuous discussion in the academic circles.This article makes a theoretical explanation of the specific characteristics of the income gap with economic growth from the perspective of personal ability,economic structure and system,and uses cross-border panel data from 1981-2018 in 162 countries and regions in the WDI database as a sample,using mixed regression and fixed effect and random effect models to analyze the trajectory of income disparity on economic growth.The results show that the income gap of the economy in the initial and middle stages of development shows an“inverted U-shaped”change characteristic.Having crossed the middle-income trap and entered the high-income stage,the income gap will show an“exponential”change characteristic.Both stages constitute the“inverted pipe type”characteristic of income disparity with economic growth.
