摘要
剩余采食量(Residual feed intake,RFI)是通过动物实际采食量与预测采食量之差来衡量饲料效率。为研究不同RFI滩羊对瘤胃发酵参数的影响,通过表征瘤胃pH值和挥发性脂肪酸(Volatile fatty acid,VFA),筛选影响RFI的标识物。研究基于前期饲喂试验和每只滩羊的RFI数值,按数值极值分组,选择EH-RFI(极高RFI)公、母滩羊各7只,EL-RFI(极低RFI)公、母滩羊各8只,采用气质质谱联用仪(GS-MS)对滩羊瘤胃液中的VFA进行检测,并结合屠宰前采集的瘤胃液pH值进行分析。结果表明,不同RFI公、母滩羊的瘤胃pH值间没有显著差异(P>0.05);母滩羊瘤胃乙酸、丙酸、丁酸、异戊酸、戊酸和己酸含量显著高于公滩羊(P<0.05)。公羊组中,极低RFI滩羊瘤胃丁酸、异丁酸和异戊酸含量显著高于极高RFI羊(P<0.05);母羊组中,极低RFI滩羊瘤胃己酸含量显著低于极高RFI组羊(P<0.05)。综上,公母羊间瘤胃pH值一致,瘤胃VFA含量差异与性别因素有关,性别因素可能影响瘤胃发酵模式;极低RFI公滩羊瘤胃具有较高的丁酸、异丁酸和异戊酸含量,可以作为饲料高效率的重要生物标识物。
Residual feed intake(RFI)is a measure of feed efficiency based on the difference between actual and predicted feed intake.In order to study the effects of different RFI Tan sheep on rumen fermentation parameters,the indicators affecting RFI were screened by characterizing rumen pH and volatile fatty acids.In this study,7 male and female Tan sheep with EH-RFI and 8 male and female Tan sheep with EL-RFI were selected.The results showed that there was no significant difference in rumen pH between male and female Tan sheep with different RFI(P>0.05).The contents of acetic acid,propionic acid,butyric acid,iso-valeric acid,valeric acid and caproic acid in female Tan sheep were significantly higher than those in male Tan sheep(P<0.05).In male sheep group,the contents of butyric acid,isobutyric acid and isovaleric acid in EL-RFI Tan sheep were significantly higher than those in EH-RFI Tan sheep(P<0.05),and in female sheep group,the content of caproic acid in EL-RFI Tan sheep was significantly lower than that in EH-RFI group(P<0.05).In conclusion,rumen pH is consistent between males and females,and the difference of rumen VFA content is related to gender,which may affect rumen fermentation pattern.EL-RFI male Tan sheep have higher contents of butyric acid,isobutyric acid and isovalerate acid,which can be used as an important biological marker for high feed efficiency.
