Retrieving the literature data of research on the Integration of the Yangtze River Delta from 2001 to 2020 through the China CNKI database, using scientific measurement methods, and with the help of CO-occurrence to plot related knowledge map of the number of publications, research institutions, authors, and keywords in the Yangtze River Delta integration research field, etc and analyze its distribution law and evolution trend. The results show that from 2001 to 2020, the number of publications of research on the Integration of the Yangtze River Delta is showing an overall increasing trend; The cooperation between authors and institutions is not strong, the cooperation relationship is not close, and a extensive and close cooperation network has not been formed. The cooperation between authors and institutions needs to be strengthened; The general research hotspots of research on the Integration of the Yangtze River Delta are basic research, collaborative innovation research, development and cooperation, and regional economic integration; The specific research hotspots are economic research, urban agglomeration research, spatial structure research and Shanghai research. In addition, the keywords, research institutions, and authors of research on the Integration of the Yangtze River Delta have corresponding evolution trends at each stage.
