摘要
翻译过程中,原文不可避免地会遭受译入语语言和文化的冲击,从而产生不同程度的变形。以贝尔曼“否定分析”理论为指导,采用案例分析的方法,对毛泽东诗词较有影响力的三个英译本进行研究,对比分析《沁园春·长沙》不同译本中的文本变形倾向发现,三个译本都不同程度地受到了文本变形系统的侵袭,产生了共计33处变形,涉及10种变形倾向。在分析以上文本变形倾向产生原因的基础上,总结出《沁园春·长沙》英译中避免文本变形的方法:数词的淡化处理、名词叠用、恰当选词、句式和标点的灵活运用等。
In the process of translation,the original text will inevitably suffer from the impact of the target language and culture,resulting in different degrees of deformation.Based on Berman’s theory of Negative Analysis,through comparative analysis on three influential English versions of Poems of Mao Zedong,the textual deformation tendencies in different versions of“Qin Yuan Chun·Changsha”are analyzed with examples.It is found that all the three selected versions are affected by the textual deformation system in different degrees,resulting in a total of 33 deformations involving 10 deformation tendencies.With the analysis of the reasons for these text deformations,some methods are also summarized to avoid text deformations in the English translation of“Qin Yuan Chun·Changsha”,involving the understatement of numerals,the superposition of nouns,the flexible use of proper words,sentence patterns and punctuations and so on.
