摘要
《牛津高阶英语词典》是一部极具权威性和规范性的学习型词典,自1948年首次出版以来不断进行修订。2015年,《牛津高阶英语词典》第9版问世,较上一版新增423个词汇,删减162个词汇。将增减词汇作为研究对象,梳理其词性分布及语义领域分布情况,以探究现代英语词汇的发展状况,并为相关英汉、汉英学习型词典的编纂提供参考。研究发现,第9版词典修订及时、收词全面,具有积极意义,但也存在一些问题,如广泛使用的词未被收录,重要词汇被删减。
Oford Advanced Learner's Dictionary is an authoritative and standard learner's dictionary.It was first published in 1948,and keep revising until now.The ninth edition first published in 2015,which added 423 words and deleted 162 words.With the classification of different part of speech and meanings of words,the study aims to explore the development of contemporary English,and offer suggestions for the lexicography of English-Chinese and Chinese-English dictionaries.The study found the ninth edition revised timely and collected words from a wide range of sources,which is of vital significance.It existed some disadvantages as well,for example,essential words were not added and widely-used words were deleted.
