摘要
目的探讨食管鳞状细胞癌(ESCC)组织中核受体共激活因子5(NCOA5)蛋白表达变化及意义。方法收集79例ESCC患者的癌组织及癌旁正常组织,用免疫组化法检测两种组织中NCOA5蛋白的表达;对患者进行3~60个月的随访,至患者死亡或随访时间结束,分析NCOA5蛋白阳性表达与ESCC患者临床病理参数及预后的关系。结果 NCOA5蛋白在ESCC癌组织中的阳性表达率低于癌旁正常组织(χ2=68. 763,P=0. 000)。NCOA5蛋白阳性表达与患者性别、年龄、肿瘤直径及浸润深度无关(P均> 0. 05),与ESCC分化程度、淋巴结转移、TNM分期有关(P均<0. 05)。至随访结束,患者死亡62例(78. 48%),复发66例(83. 54%)。NCOA5蛋白阳性表达者术后5年总生存率、术后中位生存时间均高于阴性表达者(P均<0. 05)。结论 NCOA5在ECSS组织中呈低表达;且NCOA5低表达与ESCC恶性进展、不良预后有关。
Objective To detect the protein expression of nuclear receptor coactivator 5(NCOA5)in the esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)tissues,and to explore the clinical significance.Methods The cancer tissues and the adjacent normal tissues from 79 cases of patients with ESCC were selected.The immunohistochemistry(IHC)assay was utilized to evaluate the protein expression of NCOA5 in the esophageal tissues.The patients were followed up for 3-60 months until death or the end of follow-up.We analyzed the correlation between the NCOA5 expression and the clinical pathological parameters.The influence of NCOA5 on the prognosis of ESCC patients was analyzed.Results The IHC results suggested that the positive rate of NCOA5 protein in the ESCC cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in the adjacent normal tissues(χ2=68.763,P=0.000).In the ESCC cancer tissues,the NCOA5 expression was not related to gender,age,tumor size or invasion depth(all P>0.05),but related to tumor differentiation status,lymph node metastasis,and the TNM stages(all P<0.05).Until the end of follow-up,62 cases(78.48%)ended with death,66 cases(83.54%)had recurrence.Log Rank showed that the patients in the NCOA5-negative group had a poorer prognosis(P<0.05).Conclusion The NCOA5 expression is down-regulated in the ESCC cancer tissues,which is related to the malignant process and poor prognosis of ESCC.
