摘要
《穷理学》翻译了亚里士多德关于"知识"概念的理论。傅泛际与李之藻将拉丁文底本的知识"scientia"译为"确知"。但比较亚里士多德原著的对应词"Επιστη'μη"与古汉语"确知"的词源与词义发现,"确知"并不能准确传达"Επιστη'μη"对事物本原和原因解释的内涵及其"证明性"与"必然性"的特征。但"后分析篇"评注的翻译与解释最终将"Επιστη'μη"的内涵与特征赋予"确知"。就此,亚里士多德的"知识"概念被完整引进,这也是西方知识概念第一次引入我国,因而对于传统知识观念与知识体系的丰富与完善有重要意义。
Qinli xue introduce Aristotle'theory of knowledge in Post-Analysis,which is about what is knowledge,how knowledge is acquired and how to ensure its true. Among them,Fu Fanji and Li Zhizao translated the Latin " scientia" as " 确知". By comparing the etymology and the meaning of Greek" Επι'σ τημη" corresponding to " scientia" with the ancient Chinese " 确知",we have found that the Ancient Chinese " 确知" does not accurately convey the original meaning of Aristotle's " Επισ τημη" and the connotative meaning of " Επισ τημη" which Aristotle emphasizes on the origin and reasons of things,nor can it accurately convey the basic characteristics of the " proof" and the " necessity" of " Επιστμη". However,the meaning and characteristics of Aristotle " Επιστμη" are still given the " 确知" through the translation of the commentary part of " post-analysis". This is the first time that westen concept of knowledge has been introduced into our country. The introduction provide a new concept of knowledge for us which is supported by the rational argument. Therefore,it is significant for the enrichment and improvement of traditional knowledge concepts and knowledge systems.
