摘要
通过中国知网检索,发现中国儿童文学的英译研究少于外国儿童文学的汉译研究。文章定量收集和整理了英译本《凤鸽儿》中的省译内容,并定性对其进行分类和分析。结果表明,该作中的省译类型有两种,即语言性省译和非语言性省译;省译原因有两个,即语言特色和非语言因素,而后者又包括作者,译者和读者。此研究可深化省译研究,对儿童文学翻译也有一定的启发。
With CNKI＇s retrieval,the research on English translation of Chinese children＇s literature is less than that of foreign children＇s literature.This study first collected and handled items of omission translation in A Very Special Pigeon of Chinese-English edition quantitatively,then classified and analyzed them qualitatively.The results show that,in this novella,there are two types of omission,which are language omission and non-language omission,and there are two reasons for it,which are language features and non-language factors,and the latter is divided into the writer,the translator and the reader.This study can deepen the research of omission in translation and offer some enlightenment for the translation of children＇s literature.
