摘要
大学英语教学改革的深入发展要求建设新一代大学英语教材。本文详细介绍了"新目标大学英语"《视听说教程》的编写理念、内容编排、任务设计以及编写特色。在以培养人文素质和科学素养为核心,以英语语言能力、思辨能力和自主学习能力共同提高为目标的编写理念的指导下,《视听说教程》体现了视听练习重视传统与创新相结合、重视创建真实语境、强调"做中学"等特色。
Further development of college English teaching reform calls for the compilation of a new generation of college English textbooks. This paper discusses the compiling principles,contents arrangement,task design and features of the Video Course in the New Target College English Series. It indicates that the textbook is a valuable attempt to integrate the cultivation of humanistic literacy and scientific literacy,the coordinated development of English language competence,critical thinking skills and learner autonomy into the core objectives of college English teaching. The textbook distinguishes itself by such features as combining traditional listening exercises with creative listening tasks,and placing emphasis on the authentic communication context and ＂learning in doing＂.
