Objective= To observe the variation of cytokine IFN-γ、IL-4andTGF-β in pre/pos eration peripheral blood of gastric carcinoma patients. Methods= A total o{ 40 patients with gastric car ma were selected as gastric carcinoma group, at the same time, 40 healthy adults were selected as co group, the ELISA method was used to detect the variation of cytokine IFN-γ、IL-4andTGF-β in pre/ operation peripheral blood of all participants. Results. Comparing with control group, the serum IF t-op- cino- ntrol post- IFN-γ、IL-4andTGF-β levels of gastric carcinoma group. I -II stage group and III - IV stage group increased sig- nificantly, the difference was statistically significant (P〈0.05), and comparing with I - 1I stage group, the serum IFN-γ、IL-4andTGF-β levels of III - IV stage group also increased, the difference was statisti- cally significant (P〈0.05) ;comparing with pre-operation level, the serum IFN-γ、IL-4andTGF-β levels of post-operation significantly decreased, the difference was statistically significant (P〈0.05) ;The linear correlation analysis result showed that the serum IFN-γ、IL-4andTGF-β levels of gastric carcinoma were positively related to each other(P〈0.05). Oonclusion: The variation of cytokine IFN-γ、IL-4andTGF-β are closely associated with the occurrence, development and prognosis of gastric carcinoma indicating that the joint detection of serum cytokines will help to understand the pathogenesis and curative effects judg- ment of gastric carcinoma.
