摘要
随着国际交流中英语使用的不断增加,英语已逐渐发展成为一门国际语言。作为国际语言,英语教学应基于一套不同于外语教学的假设。本文对国际英语研究做一简要回顾,旨在为国际英语背景下的大学英语课程教学提供一些启示。
As the use of English for international communication increased, English has evolved into an international language. The teaching and learning of an international language must be based on an entirely different set of assumptions than that of a foreign language. This paper aims to draw on some implications for college English teaching in China in the framework of EIL.
