摘要
针对车牌识别中的字符识别问题,提出了一种改进的模板匹配方法,首先把字符模板根据某种特征进行粗分类,特征类似的分到同一组,识别时首先提取字符的这种特征,根据特征提取相应分组的模板进行匹配,最后给出识别结果。
In order to solve the character recognition in the license plate recognition,a modified method of template matching is proposed in our work.According to certain characteristic,classify character templates roughly,the templates with similar characteristics are classified into the same group.Then,in the recognition step,we pick out that characteristic of characters,and pick out the template of corresponding group according to the pointed characteristic.Finally,the recognition result is presented via template matching step.
