摘要
本文通过对用人单位、毕业生和在校生3个层面的需求分析,从人才培养模式、课程设置、教材开发、师资建设以及教学评估等几个方面,重新评价广东省的高职高专英语教学,提出了广东省高职高专英语教育人才培养模式改革的新思路,为全国的高职高专英语教学改革提供切实可行的课改之路。
This paper, summarized from the four separate reports resulted from the GDWYG-001 research program co-sponsored by the China Research & Development Center for Foreign Languages Teaching & Learning and the Educational Department of Guangdong Province, reassesses the English teaching status quo in Higher Vocational & Technical Colleges (HVTC) in Guangdong by means of the needs analyses of English skills of the undergraduates, graduates and the employers of HVTC students. Based on the concrete and realistic analyses of the large amount of data collected from the surveys conducted by the research group, the paper proposes novel and practical solutions to the problems in such respects as the teaching concepts, teaching approaches, course design, development of teaching materials, outcome assessment device and teacher training.
