摘要
语言是一种重要的国家资源。语言资源价值主要表现在社会价值、经济价值、文化价值几个方面。语言的社会价值体现在其现有的及潜在的社会功能中,即语言的沟通功能和认同功能。语言资源社会价值的攀升带来语言使用人口增多、使用领域拓展、应用效益提高,这便是语言经济价值的体现。语言的接触与融合拓宽了人们的文化视阈,促使文化多元发展,同时关乎母语文化的传承与弘扬,语言在适遇的社会、经济条件下,得到合理的保护开发及利用将产生宝贵的文化价值。本文以义乌的语言生活为例,通过调查义乌近年的普通话水平测试情况,经商人员的语言水平、语言态度及语言使用情况,语言培训市场情况等,从语言的社会价值、经济价值、文化价值三个方面较深入地探讨语言资源的价值,并对语言资源的保护开发及利用提出了建议。
Language is an important resource of a country, which has received universal agreement from the academia. The value of language resources finds expression in their social value, economic value and cultural value. The social value of a language finds expression in its existing and potential social functions. The increase of its social value brings about more use of a language in a wider field, an expression of its economic value. The language contact and fusion widens the cultural vision of the people and fosters the development of cultural pluralism. This paper is a case study of the language in use in Yiwu, covering its tests of Putonghua in recent years, the language proficiency and attitudes of the businessmen, and interprets its social value, economic value and cultural value before bringing up some suggestions for the protection and use of language resources.
