摘要
西周金文中的"僚"和"友",是不同身份的两类职官。其中的"僚"是指担任副职、负责辅佐正职管理职事的官员;"友"则是指一般的属吏,这类属吏通常是由官长的同族兄弟担任。在西周时期,一些政府部门已经形成了正职、副职和属吏的三级科层结构,反映了西周行政组织已经有了一定程度的科层化和政事的日益繁复。
In the bronze inscriptions of Western Zhou, the two characters hao（僚） and you（友） both mean ＂underlings＂. The character liao means the secondary official and the character you means the subordinate clerk, the rank of the former was higher than the latter. The members of the subordinate clerk were usually kinship of their leaders.
