虚拟现实(VR)是一门正在发展的高新技术,它允许用户在一个采用计算机生成的三维动态虚拟环境中活动或与之相互作用。拟实制造(VM)是VR技术在制造领域的发展及应用,是敏捷制造的关键技术之一,它将与制造有关的各项技术集成在一个共同的平台上。本文介绍了拟实制造的概念、特征、所需技术及其在先进制造技术上的应用实例。
Virtual Reality (VR) is a new developing high technology, which allows the user to navigate in and interact with a 3-dimensional dynamic simulation of a real or fictitious world. Virtual Manufacturing (VM) is the development of VR and its application in the field of manufacturing. It aims at integrating diverse manufactruing related technologies under a common platform, using VR technology. VM definition, characteristics, technologies required and some examples of its application are stated.
