摘要
20世纪50年代以来,美国的教育改革浪潮迭起,先后经历了"新课程"运动、促进教育机会平等运动、"恢复基础"运动,学校重建运动、教育选择与国家标准运动和学校教育与工作需要相结合运动。每次改革浪潮都呈现出不同的时期社会对教育变革的要求与教育对社会发展的应对,究其用意都是旨在通过课程改革,提高教育质量,培养高素质的美国公民。从历史角度纵观当代美国教育改革六次浪潮的特点,有助于把握美国教育发展的基本走向,为我国的教育改革实践提供可参考的思路。
Since the 1950＇ s, reform of American education has gone through a series of waves, such as the ＂New Program＂ Movement, the Movement of Promoting Equal Opportunity of Education, the ＂Basis Restoration＂ Movement, the School Rebuilding Movement, the Education Choice and National Norm Movement and the Movement of Combination of School Education with work demand. Each wave of reform represented social demand for educational reform and the educator＇s attempt to keep up with social advancement in different periods of time. And the consistent purpose has always been to training high - quality American citizens through teaching program reform and raising teaching quality. An overview of the characteristics of these waves of reform in American education will help form a general grasp of development of American education and present some ideas for practice of education reform in our country.
