摘要
Notch信号通路是一条进化上十分保守的信号转导系统。Notch受体通过与配体的相互作用转导细胞信号,从而在细胞增殖、分化、凋亡中发挥重要的调控作用。Notch信号通路平衡细胞增殖、分化、凋亡的重要性提示其可能与肿瘤细胞的异常调控相关。近来研究发现,在许多肿瘤细胞系中存在notch基因的异常活化,且失控的Notch信号与肿瘤细胞的生长调控相关。文章综述了就新近有关Notch信号通路的生理功能及其对肿瘤细胞的调控作用。
The Notch signaling pathway is an evolutionarily conserved signal transduction system. Notch signaling transduces signals through receptor-ligand interactions, therefore playing important roles in cellular developmental pathway including proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. The roles of Notch signaling in maintaining the balance among cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis suggests that it is potentially involved in the aberrant regulation in tumor cells. Recent studies have shown that in many tumor cell lines, Notch genes were abnormally activated and aber- rant Notch signaling was correlated with regulation of tumor cells. This review focuses on the physiological functions of Notch signaling and its regulation on tumor cells.
