摘要 本文探讨在话语分析领域中最具争议性的问题:语篇衔接中形式与意义的关系。语篇衔接是一个意义概念,即一个谋篇意义概念,它和实现它的衔接机制密切相关,成为意义系统中与形式特征最接近的一种意义。衔接不仅能够在内部把概念意义和人际意义组成一个语篇,还能够把语篇与语境联系起来,所以语篇衔接不仅包括语篇内部的衔接机制,也包括把语篇和语境联系起来的机制。这样我们就可以参照衔接来研究语篇连贯,从语篇分析的角度讲,借助语境,我们可以根据语篇中出现的衔接机制来预测语篇连贯以及连贯的程度。 The present article addresses one of the most controversial issues in discourse analysis: the relationship between form and meaning in text cohesion. It holds that text cohesion is a semantic concept, a concept of textual meaning. It is closely associated with the cohesive devices that realize it, and becomes one that is the closest to formal features in the semantic system. Cohesion not only has the function of organizing the ideational meaning and the interpersonal meaning into a text internally, but also can relate the text with the context. Text cohesion includes not only cohesive devices within the text, but also those that relate text with situation. We can investigate coherence in terms of cohesion, and from the point of view of text analysis, we can predict text coherence and its degree according to cohesive devices present in the text with the help of context.
