摘要
英语复合词看似简单 ,其实不然。其诸种构型及其内在的诸成分之间的句法关系和语义关系极为复杂。迄今为止 ,语言学家对若干重要的相关问题尚未形成非常一致的看法 ,本文将在考察英语复合词的构型、句法及语义的基础上 ,试图以Fauconnier(1997)和Fauconnier&Turner(2 0 0 2 )
English compounds are a seemingly simple type of words, but actually they are not. The patterns of compounds and the internal syntactic and semantic relationships of their constituents are so complex that the linguistic world hasnever reached a widely accepted agreement. After making an investigation of these matters, this paper attempts to examine the cognitive construction of Englishcompounds from the perspective of the Conceptual Blending Theory proposed by Fauconnier(1997and Fauconnier & Turner(2002).
