摘要
刘若愚是美籍华裔比较诗学研究家,他平生出版了八部与中国诗学有关的专著并发表了大量的研究论文。他的比较诗学理论体系在西方汉学界产生了重大的影响,同时对中国文艺理论走向国际化也有不可忽略的借鉴意义。本文在全面研读刘氏专著及其论文的基础上,对其建构的比较诗学体系作了整合性的描述。
James L.Y. Liu is a famous Sino-American scholar in Comparative Poetics. He publishes eight monographs and a large number of papers on Comparative Poetics between China and West. The importance of his system of Comparative Poetics lies not only in its influences on Sinology in the West, but also in the fact that it ushers Chinese literary theory to the world. This paper aims to make an integrated description of James L.Y. Liu’s system of Comparative Poetics based on a complete reading of most of his works.
