摘要
东西方经济文化发展的不平衡导致了翻译中强势的西方文化对弱势的东方文化的贬抑、渗透和同化.为了改变东方文化压抑和无声的地位,突显其文化特色和重写文化身份,弱势文化翻译必然要经历一个非殖民化的过程.翻译过程中人们应克服文化偏见和对抗,推动多元共生互补的文化交往.
The imbalance in the development of economy and culture between the East and the West leads inevitably to the Occidental relegation, penetration and assimilation of the Oriental culture. To change the state of repression and inarticulation, to show their cultural characteristics and to rewrite their cultural identity, scholars of the third world nations are engaged in the endeavor of decolonization in translation. Translators of both the East and the West should eliminate bias and conflicts in the process of translation in order to promote cultural exchange on the basis of mutual respect and mutual benefit.
