The gene expression systems for lactic acid bacteria has been developed for several years. Because the lactic acid bacteria can be used as probiotic, many heterologous genes have been expressing in these systems. Compared with to other gene expression systems for bacteria, these systems have many advantages. This paper shows all the advantages and the development potential of these systems. Ref 20
