男女性别平等和教育公平是两性和谐发展的基础。女童教育是国际社会普遍关注的重要问题,它反映了男女教育的平等问题和男女性别的公正问题。在女童教育问题上,坚持科学发展观,促进女童教育与经济社会的协调发展,实现男女教育公平与性别平等,是构建社会主义和谐社会的题中应有之义和当务之急。
