语言与育人相融合的高校《英语公众演讲》课程构建反思 被引量:1

摘要 《英语公众演讲》作为国内高校英语类选修课程之一,在教学过程中更关注英语演讲语言、语篇方面和英语演讲翻译的研究,视为英语口语大类之下其一练习形式的扩展。实则公众演讲作为一种独立的思想外显性表现形式,往往在前期准备、过程中展示、后期评估反馈中起到对演讲者自身隐性育化的作用。在立足语言教学之余,《英语公众演讲》回应时代命题,具有"先天"优势,拥有英语、汉语跨文化视角,无论是他人演讲或自身演讲势必结合了国际视野、家国情怀、文化自信、人格养成等教育内容,更应是一门语言与育人高密度融合的外语课程。 Public Speaking in English is one of the optional courses for English in domestic colleges and universities.In the teaching process,it often pays more attention to the research of language,discourse and translation in English speeches.It is regarded as an extension of one of the practice forms contained in oral English part.Nevertheless,public speaking,as an independent form of explicit manifestation of thought,often plays a role in educating the speakers themselves implicitly while preparing,delivering speeches,and having evaluations.In addition to language teaching,Public Speaking in English responds to the needs of the times.With the cross-cultural perspective of English and Chinese,it has the irreplaceable advantages.So,whether the speeches were taken by different speakers,it is bound to combine educational contents such as international view,patriotism,cultural confidence,and personality development.It should also be a foreign language course with a high density both of language and education.
