摘要
复杂形容词谓语句在形式上带有宾语,语义类型较为复杂,是一种极其特殊的形容词谓语句。借助认知语言学中的重要理论工具——行为链和转喻,本文将语义上貌似毫不相关的复杂形容词谓语句置于同一理论框架之下,为其形成机制及句法语义限制提供统一且较为合理的解释。从行为链和转喻视角探讨复杂形容词谓语句是基于人类基本经验和普遍认知能力的,可较为直观解决复杂形容词谓语句的形成机制问题,对复杂形容词谓语句句法语义限制进行认知阐释的同时,检验了本文分析模式的解释力。
Complex adjectival predicate construction is a special type of adjectival predicate construction in that its predicate has an object followed and its semantic meanings are relatively complicated.By means of action chain and metonymy,the analytical tools in cognitive linguistics,the paper attempts to put the construction with seemingly irrelevant meanings in the same theoretical frame,so that a unified and plausible explanation for its motivation,syntactic and semantic restrictions can be provided.Based on basic human experiences and universal cognitive abilities,the perspective of action chain and metonymy can address the problem of its formation mechanism in an intuitively obvious way.In this way,the cognitive explanation of its syntactic and semantic restrictions can be directly presented and the credibility of the analytical model can be tested.
