Objective To investigate the effects of half-oral implant restoration and conventional restoration on bone absorption and aesthetic degree in patients with dentition loss. Methods Totally 60 patients with dentition loss in the dental clinic of our hospital from February 2017 to February 2019 were selected as the research objects.According to the willingness of the patients, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional repair, while the observation group was treated with implant repair. The repair effects, bone absorption and aesthetic satisfaction rate of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of repair in the observation group was 96.67%(29/30),which was higher than that(73.33%,22/30)in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The marginal bone absorption(1.11±0.20)mm of the observation group was lower than that(1.32±0.22)mm of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The aesthetic satisfaction in the observation group was 93.33%(28/30),which was higher than that(70.00%,21/30)in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Implant restoration can reduce postoperative bone absorption in patients with dentition loss, has a higher degree of aesthetics and promotes the improvement of the restoration effects.
