Suppose that several different imperfect instruments and one perfect instrument are independently used to measure some characteristics of a population. Thus, measurements of two or more sets of samples with varying accuracies are obtained. Statistical inference should be based on the pooled samples. In this article, the authors also assumes that all the imperfect instruments are unbiased. They consider the problem of combining this information to make statistical tests for parameters more relevant. They define the empirical likelihood ratio functions and obtain their asymptotic distributions in the presence of measurement error. 展开更多

One of the fundamental questions is how to effectively use the complete auxiliary information at the estimation stage. In this paper, we extend the model-calibration method to obtain estimators of the finite population mean by using complete auxiliary information from stratified sampling survey data. We show that the resulting estimators effectively use auxiliary information at the estimation stage and possess a number of attractive features such as asymptotically design-unbiased irrespective of the working model and approximately model-unbiased under the model. When a linear working-model is used, the resulting estimators reduce to the usual calibration estimator(or GREG). 展开更多

However, its theoretical properties are unexplored systemically. This paper shows that quasi-regression is unbiased, strong convergent and asymptotic normal for parameter estimations but it is biased for the fitting of curve. Furthermore, a new method called unbiased quasi-regression is proposed. In addition to retaining the above asymptotic behaviors of parameter estimations, unbiased quasi-regression is unbiased for the fitting of curve. 展开更多
