Particularly, the writing section not only tests students’ foundational language skills but also emphasizes logical thinking, argumentation techniques, and expression abilities. However, traditional teaching methods for TOEFL writing often fall short in comprehensively addressing these complex skill areas, leading to suboptimal student performance. To address this issue, this study introduces artificial intelligence (AI) technology and designs a systematic AI-empowered training program for TOEFL writing instructors, aiming to significantly enhance teaching efficiency and quality. Through various assessment methods including surveys, instant quizzes, operational demonstrations, micro-project submissions, and rapid feedback forms, the effectiveness of the training program was validated, and suggestions for further optimization were proposed.展开更多
