The electrical performance including breakdown voltage and turn-off speed of SOI-LIGBT is improved by incorporating a resistive field plate (RFP) and a p-MOSFET.The p-MOSFET is controlled by a signal detected from a p...The electrical performance including breakdown voltage and turn-off speed of SOI-LIGBT is improved by incorporating a resistive field plate (RFP) and a p-MOSFET.The p-MOSFET is controlled by a signal detected from a point of the RFP.During the turning-off of the IGBT,the p-MOSFET is turned on,which provides a channel for the excessive carriers to flow out of the drift region and prevents the carriers from being injected into the drift region.At the same time,the electric field affected by the RFP makes the excessive carriers flow through a wider region,which almost eliminates the second phase of the turning-off of the SOI-LIGBT caused by the substrate bias.Faster turn-off speed is achieved by above two factors.During the on state of the IGBT,the p-MOSFET is off,which leads to an on-state performance like normal one.At least,the increase of the breakdown voltage for 25% and the decrease of the turn-off time for 65% can be achieved by this structure as can be verified by the numerical simulation results.展开更多
Gastric perforation is one of the most serious complications that can occur during endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD).In terms of the treatment of such perforations,we previously reported that perforations immediat...Gastric perforation is one of the most serious complications that can occur during endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD).In terms of the treatment of such perforations,we previously reported that perforations immediately observed and successfully closed with endoclips during endoscopic resection could be managed conservatively.We now report the first case in our medical facility of a gastric perforation during ESD that was ineffectively treated conservatively even after successful endoscopic closure.In December 2006,we performed ESD on a recurrent early gastric cancer in an 81-year-old man with a medical history of laparotomy for cholelithiasis.A perforation occurred during ESD that was immediately observed and successfully closed with endoclips so that ESD could be continued resulting in an en-bloc resection.Intensive conservative management was conducted following ESD,however,an endoscopic examination five days after ESD revealed dehiscence of the perforation requiring an emergency laparotomy.展开更多

With the pressure measurements at different parts of men's suit under normal standing posture and in motion, the objective assessment of the total comfort are related to the subjective ratings of clothing pressure. There is a common strong sensation of pressure on shoulder with normal standing posture, and a strong relationship between total comfort and clothing pressure in back armhole and the front of upper arm with posture in motion.展开更多
The aim of this study is to explore potential pathogenicity of Mycoplasma penetrans, and to investigate whether M. penetrans lipid-associated membrane proteins （LAMPs） could induce human monocytic cell line （THP- 1...The aim of this study is to explore potential pathogenicity of Mycoplasma penetrans, and to investigate whether M. penetrans lipid-associated membrane proteins （LAMPs） could induce human monocytic cell line （THP- 1 ） to produce some proinflammatory cytokines in vitro, including interleukin- 1β （ IL- 1β）, tumor necrosis factor alpha （TNF-α）, and IL-8. THP-1 was stimulated with different concentrations of M.penetrans LAMPs and at different time to analyze the production of human IL-1β, TNF-α and IL-8. The protein levels of human IL-1β, TNF-α and IL-8 were measured by enzyme-linked immunoadsorbent assay （ELISA） and the mRNA levels of these proinflammatory cytokines were detected by reverse transcriptase-PCR （RT-PCR）. It was demonstrated in the present study that the production of IL-1β, TNF-α and IL-8 increased in dose- and time-dependent manner after stimulation with M. penetrans LAMPs in THP-1 cells. M. penetrans LAMPs also induced the expression of IL-1β, TNF-α and IL-8 mRNA. The production of IL-1β, TNF-α and IL-8 and the expression of mRNA were down-regulated by pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate （PDTC）. This study demonstrated that M. penetrans LAMPs can induce the production of proinflammatory cytokines in human monocytic cells in vitro, thus suggesting that it may be an important etiological factor.展开更多
