This paper is concerned with the control performance assessment based on the multivariable generalized minimum variance benchmark.An explicit expression for the feedback controller-invariant(the generalized minimum variance)term of the multivariable control system is obtained,which is used as a standard benchmark for the assessment of the control performance for multi input multi output(MIMO)process.The proposed approach is based on the multivariable minimum variance benchmark.In comparison with the minimum variance benchmark, the developed method is more reasonable and practical for the control performance assessment of multivariable systems.The approach is illustrated by a simulation example and an industrial application. 展开更多

In order to enhance the robustness and contrast in the minimum variance(MV) beamformer, adaptive diagonal loading method was proposed. The conventional diagonal loading technique has already been used in the MV beamformer, but has the drawback that its level is specified by predefined parameter and without consideration of input-data. To alleviate this problem, the level of diagonal loading was computed appropriately and automatically from the given data by shrinkage method in the proposed adaptive diagonal loaded beamformer. The performance of the proposed beamformer was tested on the simulated point target and cyst phantom was obtained using Field II. In the point target simulation, it is shown that the proposed method has higher lateral resolution than the conventional delay-and-sum beamformer and could be more robust in estimating the amplitude peak than the MV beamformer when acoustic velocity error exists. In the cyst phantom simulation, the proposed beamformer has shown that it achieves an improvement in contrast ratio and without distorting the edges of cyst. 展开更多

To improve localization accuracy, the spherical microphone arrays are used to capture high-order wavefield in- formation. For the far field sound sources, the array signal model is constructed based on plane wave decomposition. The spatial spectrum function is calculated by minimum variance distortionless response (MVDR) to scan the three-dimensional space. The peak values of the spectrum function correspond to the directions of multiple sound sources. A diagonal loading method is adopted to solve the ill-conditioned cross spectrum matrix of the received signals. The loading level depends on the alleviation of the ill-condition of the matrix and the accuracy of the inverse calculation. Compared with plane wave decomposition method, our proposed localization algorithm can acquire high spatial resolution and better estimation for multiple sound source directions, especially in low signal to noise ratio (SNR). 展开更多

Underwater acoustic signal processing is one of the research hotspots in underwater acoustics.Noise reduction of underwater acoustic signals is the key to underwater acoustic signal processing.Owing to the complexity of marine environment and the particularity of underwater acoustic channel,noise reduction of underwater acoustic signals has always been a difficult challenge in the field of underwater acoustic signal processing.In order to solve the dilemma,we proposed a novel noise reduction technique for underwater acoustic signals based on complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise(CEEMDAN),minimum mean square variance criterion(MMSVC) and least mean square adaptive filter(LMSAF).This noise reduction technique,named CEEMDAN-MMSVC-LMSAF,has three main advantages:(i) as an improved algorithm of empirical mode decomposition(EMD) and ensemble EMD(EEMD),CEEMDAN can better suppress mode mixing,and can avoid selecting the number of decomposition in variational mode decomposition(VMD);(ii) MMSVC can identify noisy intrinsic mode function(IMF),and can avoid selecting thresholds of different permutation entropies;(iii) for noise reduction of noisy IMFs,LMSAF overcomes the selection of deco mposition number and basis function for wavelet noise reduction.Firstly,CEEMDAN decomposes the original signal into IMFs,which can be divided into noisy IMFs and real IMFs.Then,MMSVC and LMSAF are used to detect identify noisy IMFs and remove noise components from noisy IMFs.Finally,both denoised noisy IMFs and real IMFs are reconstructed and the final denoised signal is obtained.Compared with other noise reduction techniques,the validity of CEEMDAN-MMSVC-LMSAF can be proved by the analysis of simulation signals and real underwater acoustic signals,which has the better noise reduction effect and has practical application value.CEEMDAN-MMSVC-LMSAF also provides a reliable basis for the detection,feature extraction,classification and recognition of underwater acoustic signals. 展开更多

The output variance caused by stochastic noise is decomposed to two parts. One part accords with the output variance of minboum vedance control and the other is the additional term of output variance causedby the control weighting factors. At the same time, the sensitivity function of modeling error is also deduced. A new robast design method that can minimize the sensitivity and the additional part of output variance is Presented by regulating variable parameters of contollers. In an extraction turbine, pressure of the extracted steam and rotate speed of the rotor are two important controlled quantities. The traditional linear state feedback control method is not perfect enough to control the two quantities accurately because of existence of nonlinearity and coupling. A generalized minimum variance control method is studied for an extraction turbine. Firstly, a nonlinear mathematical model of the control system about the two quantities is transformed into a linear system with two white noises. Secondly, a generalized minimum variance control law is applied to the system. A comparative simulation is done. The simulation results indicate that precision and dynamic quality of the regulating system under the new control law are both better than those under the state feedback control law. 展开更多

The solution of the grey model(GM(1,1)model)generally involves equal-precision observations,and the(co)variance matrix is established from the prior information.However,the data are generally available with unequal-precision measurements in reality.To deal with the errors of all observations for GM(1,1)model with errors-in-variables(EIV)structure,we exploit the total least-squares(TLS)algorithm to estimate the parameters of GM(1,1)model in this paper.Ignoring that the effect of the improper prior stochastic model and the homologous observations may degrade the accuracy of parameter estimation,we further present a nonlinear total least-squares variance component estimation approach for GM(1,1)model,which resorts to the minimum norm quadratic unbiased estimation(MINQUE).The practical and simulative experiments indicate that the presented approach has significant merits in improving the predictive accuracy in comparison with control methods. 展开更多

基于光纤光栅(FBG)传感器网络构建了声发射检测系统,并提出了最小方差无失真响应(MVDR)的声发射源定位方法。构建的系统由7个FBG传感器组成传感器线阵列,采用未经平坦的放大自发辐射(ASE)光源边缘滤波实现信号解调。利用Shannon小波变... 基于光纤光栅(FBG)传感器网络构建了声发射检测系统,并提出了最小方差无失真响应(MVDR)的声发射源定位方法。构建的系统由7个FBG传感器组成传感器线阵列,采用未经平坦的放大自发辐射(ASE)光源边缘滤波实现信号解调。利用Shannon小波变换从频散复杂的声发射信号中提取窄带信号,并基于MVDR算法扫描整个监测区域获取空间谱。根据空间谱函数计算输出值,并将计算的输出值作为像素值。最后,通过提取空间谱中的最大值的坐标确定声发射源的位置。在LY12铝合金板上进行了实验验证。结果表明,该方法在400mm×400mm的区域内,声发射定位的最大误差为9.4mm,平均误差为7.2mm,耗时小于3s。该系统具有较高的实时性和定位精度,是一种声发射源定位的新方法。 展开更多

针对封闭环境中语音信号受到混响影响,提出了LCMV分频的改进维纳滤波后置波束形成算法。该算法通过计算麦克风阵列接收到含混响信号的短时傅里叶变换得到频域阵列信号,对频域阵列信号分频处理,将分频的信号进行线性约束最小方差波束形... 针对封闭环境中语音信号受到混响影响,提出了LCMV分频的改进维纳滤波后置波束形成算法。该算法通过计算麦克风阵列接收到含混响信号的短时傅里叶变换得到频域阵列信号,对频域阵列信号分频处理,将分频的信号进行线性约束最小方差波束形成滤波处理,该波束滤波根据每个频段上混响时间不同的特性对频域阵列信号进行分频处理后,将波束形成算法分别应用到高低频中,以提高混响抑制的精度;再由频域阵列信号的组合功率谱进行维纳后置滤波以抑制混响,由麦克风阵列接收到混响信号的直达波和反射波之间不相关性及麦克风阵列接收信号的空间信息解决维纳滤波器的精确估计问题;最后由逆短时傅里叶变换恢复出时域信号。仿真结果表明,该算法对混响抑制具有明显的改善;且在混响时间600 ms条件下语音增强系统的PESQ值提高了0.26。 展开更多

针对频率分集阵列(FDA)接收机在抑制与目标位置接近的平台外干扰过程中,最小方差无失真响应(MVDR)波束形成器在阵元数较大、导向矢量失配情况下出现的主瓣畸变问题展开分析。在采用重叠正弦频率分集阵列接收结构代替一维均匀线性频率分... 针对频率分集阵列(FDA)接收机在抑制与目标位置接近的平台外干扰过程中,最小方差无失真响应(MVDR)波束形成器在阵元数较大、导向矢量失配情况下出现的主瓣畸变问题展开分析。在采用重叠正弦频率分集阵列接收结构代替一维均匀线性频率分集阵列(ULA-FDA)接收的基础上,通过可变加载约束的最速下降线性约束最小方差(SD-LCMV)准则求解导向矢量失配时的权矢量,实现对阵列方向图主瓣的有效纠偏和保形。仿真验证了采用正弦频控函数的重叠子阵FDA阵列具有最佳的主瓣宽度和低旁瓣特性。当存在2°的指向误差时,正弦频控函数的重叠子阵FDA阵列经导向矢量修正得到的阵列方向图在有效抑制干扰的同时能够实现主瓣的纠偏和保形。 展开更多
