摘要
1916年,美国著名教育家、当代最有影响的西方教育大师杜威出版了《民主主义与教育》一书,这标志着他的教育学说体系的确立。杜威既注重教育理论又注重教育实践。杜威教育学说的永恒价值主要体现在五个方面:阐释了学校变革与社会变革的关系;强调了教育目标是学生的发展;倡导了课程教材的心理化趋向;探究了行动和思维与教学的关系;指明了教育过程是师生合作的过程。
In 1916,Democracy and Education was published by John Dewey,an American famous educator and influential figure in western education.Dewey clarifies his education doctrines,combining both theories and practices of education.This paper attempts to discuss the values of Dewey's doctrines in the explication of the relationship between transformation of schools and that of society,educational objectives of students,psychological orientation in teaching materials,relationship between action,thinking and teaching,and education as a cooperating process by both teachers and students.
