摘要
《申报》在20世纪20-30年代成为上海乃至全国最有影响力的新闻机构,借助这种影响力史量才开办了一系列的社会教育事业,努力承担了开民智、教育民众的责任,其中“流通图书馆”的创办是这些事业的中心。《申报》将流通图书馆看作自己社会事业的关键和向社会大众传递知识的渠道,于1934年1月开辟了“读书问答”栏目。栏目内容多样贴合青年需求成为答疑解惑的好帮手,不仅为读者进行读书指导还向青年普及马克思主义思想树立正确的世界观,这在一定程度上为当时进步青年指明了方向。近年来,习近平总书记指出“中华民族自古提倡阅读塑造中国人民自信自强的品格。”全民阅读可以为全面建设社会主义现代化国家提供重要精神支撑,申报“读书问答”栏目对于全民阅读提供有益借鉴。
In the 1920s and 1930s,The Shun Pao became the most influential news organization in Shanghai and even the whole country.With the help of this influence,it launched a series of social education undertakings and tried to assume the responsibility of opening people’s wisdom and educating the people,among which the establishment of“circulation library”was the center of these undertakings.Taking the circulation library as the key to its own social undertakings and a channel to transfer knowledge to the public,the Shun Pao opened the“Reading Questions”column in January 1934.The diverse contents of the column met the needs of young people and became a good helper to answer questions.It didi not only guide readers to read,but also established a correct world outlook to the youth,which to a certain extent indicates the direction for the progressive youth at that time.In recent years,General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out that“since ancient times,the Chinese nation advocates reading to shape the self-confidence and self-improvement of the Chinese people.”The national reading can provide important spiritual support for the construction of a modern socialist country in an all-round way,and the“reading questions and answers”column of the Shun Pao provides a useful reference for the national reading.
