摘要
选取2004—2021年中国34个工业行业的面板数据,实证检验对外直接投资对工业绿色转型的影响特征与作用渠道。研究发现:对外直接投资有效促进了工业绿色转型,但具有行业异质性,仅促进了非技术密集型工业行业绿色转型,异质性的来源可能是投资方向而非投资方式。机制分析表明,顺向投资通过促进改进型绿色技术创新赋能工业绿色转型,逆向投资则通过促进发明型与改进型绿色技术创新助推工业绿色转型。进一步讨论发现,对外直接投资对工业绿色转型的促进作用来源于对外直接投资深度的纵深发展,而非简单的拓展投资广度。
Select the panel data of 34 industrial sectors from 2004 to 2021,this paper empirically examines the influence characte-ristics and channels of OFDI(Outward Foreign Direct Investment)on industrial green transformation.The results show that:OFDI effectively promotes industrial green transformation.However,this promotion effect has heterogeneity,which only promotes the green transformation of non-technology-intensive industries.The source of heterogeneity may be the direction of OFDI rather than the mode of OFDI.Mechanism analysis shows that forward OFDI enables industrial green transformation by promoting improved green technological innovation,and reverse investment promotes industrial green transformation by promoting invented and improved green technological innovation.Further discussion reveals that the contribution of OFDI to industrial green transformation from a deeper depth of OFDI rather than a simple increase in the breadth of investment.
