全球竞争力视域下高职英语教学模式的创新研究

An Innovative Study on the Teaching Model of Higher Vocational English Education from the Perspective of Global Competitiveness

摘要 全球化背景下,全球竞争力被视为21世纪的“通行证”,包括认知、个人和人际等3个层面的6大核心素养。在全球化进程中,培养大学生的全球竞争力是中国高等教育发展的必然趋势,全球竞争力的培育成为我国职业院校英语教师新的议题。为培养具有国际视野的高素质国际化人才,高职英语教师应从增进国际理解、推进国与国间协同发展出发,立足本土国际化培养,从教学目标、教学内容和教学手段的国际化以及课前、课中、课后教学全过程等多个维度,创新公共英语教学模式,致力于培养学生的英语能力和对世界议题的理解力。 In the context of globalization,global competence is regarded as the essential“passport”of the 21st century,encompassing six core qualities spanning three dimensions:cognitive,personal,and interpersonal.Amid the globalization process,cultivating college students’global competence represents an inevitable trend in the development of China’s higher education.Consequently,the nurturing of global competence has emerged as a new topic for English teachers in vocational colleges across the country.To foster high-quality international talents with both profound Chinese sentiment and broad international vision,English teachers in vocational colleges should commence from strengthening cultural confidence and enhancing international understanding and promoting collaborative development among countries.Grounded in localized international education approach,they should innovate the public English teaching model from multiple aspects,including the internationalization of teaching objectives,teaching contents,and teaching methods,as well as the entire teaching process encompassing pre-class,in-class,and post-class stages.They should be dedicated to cultivating students’Englishforeign language proficiency and their understanding of global issues.
