摘要
低碳城市试点政策是实现“双碳”目标的重要举措,能够有效缓解国内环境保护与就业的双重压力。为了考察低碳城市试点政策对企业劳动力需求的影响,选取2006—2022年沪深A股上市公司样本数据,构建多期DID模型进行实证检验。研究显示:低碳城市建设对企业劳动力需求具有显著的提升效应,能提升试点城市约8.22%的企业劳动力需求水平,核心结论在经过一系列稳健性检验后仍稳健。进一步,该试点政策能够通过产出效应和要素替代效应两种途径影响企业劳动力需求。此外,相较于非国有企业,该试点政策对于国有企业的劳动力需求促进效应更为显著,而当企业面临较大的融资约束时,受到该政策的影响并不明显。
The low-carbon city pilot policy is a crucial measure for realizing the"dual carbon"targets,effectively alleviating the dual pressures of domestic environmental protection and employment.To investigate the impact of this policy on coporate labor demand,employ a multi-period DID model based on data from A-share listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges from 2006 to 2022.The empirical findings reveal a significant uplift effect of low-carbon city construction on coporate labor demand,increa-sing it by approximately 8.22%in pilot cities.This core conclusion remains robust after a series of rigorous robustness checks.Moreover,the policy influences labor demand through both output effects and factor substitution channels.Notably,compared to non-state-owned enterprises,the policy exerts a more pronounced promoting effect on labor demand for state-owned enterprises,whereas its influence is less evident when firms encounter substantial financing constraints.
