白于山区典型人工林土壤质量综合评价

Comprehensive Evaluation of Soil Quality in Typical Plantations in Baiyu Mountain Area

摘要 以陕西省榆林市白于山区为例,选取40年生典型河北杨(Populus×hopeiensis Hu&Chow)、油松(Pinus tabuliformis)、樟子松(Pinus sylvestris var.mongholica)成熟人工林,以荒草地为对照,测定土壤深度(h)为0<h≤100 cm土层土壤理化指标,分析3种典型林分土壤理化性质的垂直分布特征,并采用综合指数法对土壤质量进行评价。结果表明:土壤有机碳、全氮、全磷、速效磷质量分数均在0<h≤20 cm土层处达到最大值,速效钾、硝态氮、铵态氮质量分数均在20 cm<h≤40 cm土层处达到最大值,这说明土壤养分具有表聚效应。土壤有机碳、全氮、全磷质量分数总体呈阔叶林(河北杨林)高于针叶林(樟子松林、油松林)的分布规律。最小数据集(MDS)筛选出土壤碳、粉粒体积分数、土壤pH、速效钾、铵态氮5个指标进入最终的土壤质量评价,各林分综合排名由高到低依次为樟子松林、油松林、河北杨林、荒草地。在未来进行植被恢复时,树种选择可优先考虑针叶树种,造林配置模式选择则由树种而定,如在樟子松林中引入河北杨等阔叶树种形成混交林或选择油松及樟子松纯林的造林配置模式。 Using the example of Baiyu Mountain area in Yulin City,Shaanxi Province,mature plantations of 40-year-old typical species including Populus×hopeiensis Hu&Chow,Pinus tabuliformis,and Pinus sylvestris var.mongholica were selected for soil research.Soil physical and chemical properties of the three typical stands from the 0<h≤100 cm soil layer were determined,and their vertical distribution characteristics were analyzed in comparison to the control group of barren grass land.Soil quality was evaluated using a comprehensive index method.The results showed that the contents of soil organic carbon,total nitrogen,total phosphorus,and available phosphorus reached maximum levels in the 0<h≤20 cm soil layer,while available potassium,nitrate nitrogen,and ammonium nitrogen contents peaked in the 20 cm<h≤40 cm soil layer,indicating a surface aggregation effect of soil nutrients.Overall,the contents of soil organic carbon,total nitrogen,and total phosphorus were higher in broad-leaved forest(P.×hopeiensis Hu&Chow forest)than in coniferous forests(P.sylvestris var.mongholica forest,P.tabuliformis forest).The minimum data set(MDS)identified five indicators-soil carbon,silt content,soil pH,available potassium,and ammonium nitrogen-that contributed to the final soil quality assessment.The comprehensive ranking of the stands was in descending order:P.sylvestris var.mongholica forest,P.tabuliformis forest,P.×hopeiensis Hu&Chow forest,and barren grass land.For future vegetation restoration,priority should be given to coniferous species in the selection of tree species,while the afforestation configuration model should be determined by the tree species.For example,introducing broad-leaved tree species such as P.×hopeiensis Hu&Chow to form mixed forests in P.sylvestris var.mongholica forest,or selecting afforestation configuration models of P.tabuliformis and P.sylvestris var.mongholica pure forests may be the best choices.
