Landscape is our common heritage.Starting from the European Landscape Convention, whose signatories"aspire to sustainable development based on a harmonious balance between social needs, the economy and the environment",and taking into account the cultural dimension of the landscape, landscape issues are addressed by focusing on the social uility of the landscape.Agence TER,as a cutting-edge French landscape design team, has always put the social attributes of the landscape at the centre of its projects, and has illustrated this through three practical examples, further illustrating the development of a new research methodology by expanding the perspective of the site to a wider scale of geography and time scale to understand the realities of administrative mechanisms;the visualisation of subterranean geographic information transforms the invisible into the visible, acquiring the multicultural character of the project and the transnational superscalar strategy;the complex interactions between the different participants in the project are sometimes the source of the project.Experience working in Europe and other cosmopolitan cities has taught us that the diverse disciplinary backgrounds and co-ordination of landscape architects are essential, and that in the future there will be a greater need to integrate energy, agriculture, nature and urban issues on the basis of tools such as landscape drawings and working seminars, with a view to opening up new markets in the future.
